Paperazzi Design Studio have created beautiful installations for functions, events and campaigns. Recently we collaborated with the City of Melbourne to create a display of paper folded houses in support of Homelessness Prevention Week. Paper Installations are a unique and creative way to engage interest and bring awareness to your project – whatever it may be!

Paperazzi Design Studio have been heavily involved in events in and around Melbourne for several years. From speaking on panels to running workshops and creating promotional material, we have you covered. We are available to be booked for both public and private events – running workshops that cater to a wide range of themes, ages, interests and skill levels, or creating unique handmade paper items for parties, weddings and other special occasions.

- Melbourne Now NGV Photobook Day
Asia-Pacific Photobook Archive was very proud to present the Melbourne Now Photobook Day at the National Gallery of Victoria on March 7. Throughout the day at the NGV International Community Space around 30 local photographers showed and talked about their photobooks. We featured renowned local photographers, printers, publishers, editors and makers sharing their photobook wisdom, as well as the opportunity to participate in a photobook bookmaking workshop run by Michelle Lackenby at Paperazzi Design Studio.
A one day photobook making workshop, in conjunction with Michelle Lackenby at Paperazzi Design Studio, the Centre for Contemporary Photography, Strange Neighbour, & Edmund Pearce. A dream-team of Melbourne-based photography experts helped participants design, sequence and construct their own photobooks. The day took place across three sites in Melbourne’s photo precinct in Fitzroy – with the workshop located at the CCP.
Pacific Photobooks is a participatory photographic project that brings together photographic artists and young people of Pacific Islander heritage to explore ideas around photography, storytelling and self-publishing.
Free workshops were offered in Melbourne and Sydney, enabling participants to create photobooks for exhibition at the Asia-Pacific Photobook Archive, Melbourne and Information Cultural Exchange in Sydney.
The project was presented as a satellite event to the Contemporary Pacific Arts Festival in April 2015 at the Footscray Community Arts Centre.
Craft Cubed is Australia’s biggest festival of the handmade, now in its sixth year. Paperazzi Design Studio in collaboration with the Boyd Building, Melbourne ran several workshops during the festival, covering bookbinding techniques and paper craft.
